While you can always get in a locked interior door, it can take some time and maneuvering, depending on the doors installed in your home. Why take a chance when this preventive measure is so easy to hook up and then simply remove them when you no longer have young children in the home. It is very easy to install. All you need is a screwdriver. You unscrew the screws already in place on the latch plate currently on your door. Then line the No-Lock Plate screw holes up with the ones on the latch plate, put the screws back in and use the screwdriver to tighten. Its ingenious design allows it to fold completely flat for transporting and shipment.
It goes together in a snap, and is a breeze to figure out. There are only three pieces, so it becomes quite obvious what to do, as soon as you pull it from the box.
The eDisplay columns hold up to 200 lbs, so you know they are made to last! They are very lightweight, easy to move and look very nice when they are setup. We reviewed a black and a white model, both in 36" and 39" heights. The construction was identical on both, but the look is quite different between the two. These are suggested for a retail setting, a church, funeral home, etc. but let me tell you - they will work nicely in a home as well. I also recommend them for the office, be it a commercial setting or an at home office! Dressing them up with vases filled with flowers, a silk plant, a lamp and picture frame, or any other items you may wish ... add a nice elegant touch by placing a low wattage lamp inside the white one, for a soft illuminated effect ... If you own a retail business such as a clothing store, accessory shop or boutique, this will be the final elegant touch to your displays. Whatever your need, these will make a nice match and at an affordable price too! The outer shell of the column is made of plastic ... the two ends are made of wood, and the shell attaches to the ends using a heavy duty velcro. This describes the SunBeam tech Solar Illuminated Keyboard that I
am typing on to enter this review.
This keyboard is standard in size, has keys that are easy to stroke which makes for faster typing, and is illuminated with backlighting, which makes it great for added clarity and fun! When you load the drivers for this keyboard, you have a lot of added features. With one click of a button you can access the internet browser, your email program, a calculator, you can move back a space, forward, adjust sound - you name it! Very easy to use and so convenient for those who are office gurus. Has the standard keyboard and 10 key, as well as the macro buttons that are placed across the top. It is elegant in style and adds a nice finishing touch to the desktop, as well as a handy keyboard that you will love. It took me a few days to get used to it. At first I wondered how I was going to like it. The keys are much more like a laptop than my old keyboard, and I found I was not pressing hard enough for all of the characters to type out. However, in about 3 days of use, it was a snap and actually I preferred it over what I was using before. As with any new "gadget" it just takes a breaking in period. This one functions well and is very nice to look at. I think you will love it - I sure do!
