The Bébe Belay is one of those accessories you just have got to have.
This would have been so handy when I was raising my older children,
but I am so glad to have had the opportunity to try it with my daughter.
The Bébe Belay is one of those versatile products that packs a big punch in a little package. Not only will it hold your baby's pacifier on her clothing, it works as a quick bib accessory by clipping a napkin, paper towel, or cloth on to each clip and placing it around baby's neck. If that was not enough, it works excellent to hold mittens or booties together, so they do not get lost. I also found this was great to hook my cloth snack sack to the stroller flap with. This makes it easy for me to reach and harder for it to fall when in route. I am sure you will find other things it is also great for, which makes it all the better bargain! The clips hook solid with gripping teeth, so slippage is not a problem. From clip to clip it measures about 10" long and can be adjusted to any length you desire. The style is great and they offer several color choices, making it not only handy but trendy too! The Bébe Belay comes packaged on a card, inside a nice white organza bag with a satin ribbon, which makes it charming to give as a gift for that new arrival or the next baby shower. This is an item you won't find at the store, so your gift will be unique from others they receive. Bébe Belay has a built in safety feature to prevent strangulation: With pressure over two pounds, the clips will pull free. I was so excited when my Beco Baby Carrier [Baby Wearing Delight] arrived! Out of the package it was simply beautiful and by reading thru the simple and short instruction book I was wearing both baby and toddler in style, in no time flat. VERY impressive, when so many of these carriers are simply a maze of instructions to wade thru to wear correctly. This one was simple, no matter which way you choose to wear it.
My favorite part of the Beco Baby Carrier is that I can use it for both of my babies! Well, baby #2 is not so much a baby anymore, which is why it is next to impossible to find something that adapts to carrying him, unless I choose a big and heavy backpack. He is a toddler, weighing in at 35 lbs and at times it comes in so very handy to place HIM in the carrier and carry the baby in my arms, because she is lighter and not as squirmy. These are simply magnificent! Well made, comfortable design for both baby and mom, and downright practical! I LOVE it! Use the hood to keep baby's head in place when she falls asleep. This is also helpful when needing to protect them from direct sun or wind. The stay put strap helps you carry the carrier, out of the way, or use it as a booster seat at waist level, for baby to sit on. The Beco can be used in 5 different positions. Cradle carry and nursing - This is for age newborn +. Then there is the front carry and front cross, again for ages newborn+. Hip carry works once baby has developed the use of their neck muscles, so they can hold their head up. While this differs with each child, it is usually at about 3-5 months. Then there is back carry (my favorite!) for ages 5 months and up. Many different colors and fabrics are available and each one will be a true delight. You will enjoy using this, as will your baby/toddler - I am sure of it! Upon reviewing Diaper 911, I found this to be a helpful concept & product.
While it would not be a cost effective method of diaper changing for an
everyday, ongoing thing, it is definitely helpful (and recommended) for
those times when packing a full diaper bag is not handy.

They are large in size [ 4 1/4" wide x 7 1/2" long ]. This allows the images and typeset to be large, which makes them easy to read, as well as more appealing and captivating for little guys. Standard cards are so quickly destroyed when used by little hands. This makes for great expense as you are constantly having to replace them. Now you will have one set that will last, saving numerous trips to the store and card purchases. Above that - your child will have a set of cards totally unique and all their own. I find these are great as a travel companion. They fit easily in the pocket of the door, and can be taken out when we hit the road. This keeps my daughter amused for the entire trip, and she talks about what//who she views on each card. Another idea for these would be to make up a set of infant photos of your children, and present them to your grandchildren to enjoy. The first year of a baby's life is so much fun. Each new thing they learn to do is a milestone and they change and grow so rapidly. The first year is almost filled with the most anxiety and concern for those parents who are familiar with SIDS and are concerned for the safety and well being of their newborn. Full term infants that are healthy when born are at risk for SIDS. Add to that any problems at birth such as low birth weight or other difficulties and the statistics show that the SIDS rate increases. No baby is immune from the possibility, nor is there any cure or #1 indicator viewable in the near distant future. While much is done each year in the way of research, they have yet to truly find how to prevent all cases of this alarming syndrome. The Back To Sleep campaign has shown tremendous help in this area, by lowering the number of infant deaths; yet still each year we lose far too many infants to SIDS. As any parent would agree, even one child lost is far too many. Having personally experienced a child who stopped breathing, when my son was a few weeks old, I then and there began to learn that while this is not known as 'common' it is far more common than many people (especially new parents) are aware of or want to know. Thank God my son's story has a happy ending, however, he was on an apnea monitor until he reached a year old. Because of this incident, when my next child was born, I knew the facts and was always concerned with this. I remember checking on her repeatedly through the night. Placing my hand on her tummy to ensure all was okay and to assure myself it was okay to go to sleep... But always with the bit of worry in the back of my mind, of what if. He was a wiggle worm, and was constantly pulling on the connections, which would cause them to detach from his skin enough to sound an alarm. Even rolling over would at times cause a false alarm. This was a horrifying way to wake up, and you always came up on the run. Then I would find him happy go lucky or sleeping soundly and would have to get back to sleep until the next alarm would sound. For his first year of life I was in a constant zombie state when awake because I never was able to enjoy a full night of sleep. The Babysense V Infant Movement Monitor does not attach to the skin. Because of this, there are no cords for them to become entangled in or to knock loose to cause a false alarm to sound. There are also no plugs to worry about, as it runs on batteries. This is great because you do not have to worry about choking hazards, shocking hazards and you also do not have a lapse in safety coverage during a power interruption. The Babysense V Infant Movement Monitor system comes with two pads. Prior to the infant learning to roll and crawl around, you just use the one pad. Then you hook up the second one when they become mobile, so the entire sleep surface is monitored. The pads go under the mattress and are safely out of sight and mind and reach of the child. Eventhough it is under the mattress it can pick up micro movements that you would not even visually detect. The control unit then hooks up to the bottom of the crib rail so they are out of sight and easy reach for the child but easy to observe and control for the parent. The Babysense V Infant Movement Monitor system is programmed to sense the slightest movement and breathing, and will not sound an alarm unless movement or breathing is not detected for 20 seconds, or unless fewer than 10 micro movements are sensed in a minute. This gives the parent time to respond quickly to the need of their infant and hopefully intervene before it is too late. Using this monitor will give you reassurance, added rest, and the ability to know if there is a problem while there is still time to respond. While no one can guarantee any system will stop all incidents, it is nice to know that this system has already saved lives and will continue to do so. The Warm-Me Bath and Shower, by Safety 1st, is a great idea.
This infant/toddler bath tub features a soft, warm back support that will hold baby upright or at an incline. It also features a shower sprayer. You can use the water heated back rest and shower portion in the sink as well, or use the toddler tub without the backrest & shower. However you are most comfortable, the Warm-Me Bath and Shower is there to help. An instruction sheet is available at the website, showing how to assemble and how to use. I suggest reading this prior to attempting the setup or use of this product. While it is not complicated, it may seem so if you jump in without reading first. The Warm-Me Bath and Shower includes a water safety test strip which will show you where to have the water temperature. To use the shower feature, you simply place water in the holding tank, up to the fill line. Add a little water to the tub itself if you wish, and then pump the tank 10-20 times prior to placing baby in the tub. Then when you place baby in the tub you are ready to begin. Using the water held in the reservoir, used to warm the backrest, the shower will spray warm water with two different spray settings. I like the shower feature because it allows me to remove the soap residue from baby much easier than using tub water alone. Baby loves the water sprinkling on her too. This seems to relax her, making bathing at bedtime that much greater. The mesh netting over the backrest makes it very comfortable. My baby prefers the reclined position. Lying back on the soft mesh netting, over the warm water tank that serves as a backrest, keeps her comfortable and makes her easier to reach for bathing her entire body without moving her around a lot. Another great part I like, is the fact that when baby gets a bit bigger, I can remove the sprayer and backrest and use the tub as you would a regular bath tub for infants and toddlers. Baby and I are both pleased with this one and coming from Safety 1st, I feel it is a product we can trust and one that will last. NOTE: One thing to be sure of after filling the tank is that the shower and pump are screwed on tightly. If they aren't the shower won't function. If you feel a bit of pressure as you are pumping the tank, you know the water reservoir is air tight and keep pumping.
