The Cozy Cocoon Baby Bunting is a great find. I am happy to let you know about this product and I am sure you will find it to be as great as I have when using it with my own infant.
The Baby Bunting works much like a swaddling blanket, yet there is no need to learn to wrap, as it is sewn perfectly to gently place the baby inside for swaddling. It does not wrap tightly around the infant, but is snug enough to keep them cozy, as the name of the company implies. The Cozy Cocoon Baby Bunting helps to comfort baby and keeps them from jerking themself awake when they are fast asleep. Baby feels at home, as if she is still in the womb, because it holds her close and keeps her feeling warm and secure. This makes for a happy baby; and as we all know, when baby is happy, mommy is happy! One of the noted benefits I have enjoyed is that of ease in nursing my infant. I am sure you have witnessed the same as I have, the way an infant will be nursing and then get their little hands in the way, or will push away without aiming to, or will almost be asleep and then will jerk themself awake, in a reflex movement and then you have an upset baby instead of the content little one you had moments before. The Bunting bag removes all of these problems, by gently tucking her arms inside, for a snuggly feeding and rest time. This allows baby to latch on easily, remain latched on throughout the feeding and then fall fast asleep with no interruption. Made of lightweight cotton material, it is great to use in all weather. Baby will not become too warm in the summer and it will fit over warmer bed attire for winter months. It is also easy to care for. When it becomes soiled, simply launder it as you do your other baby clothing and it will come out looking fresh and new. I find the Cozy Cocoon to be very attractive in look and design. The makers of the bunting have taken great care in making them out of beautiful materials that are so darling on a little one. This product comes in many colors to choose from. They also offer other styles and materials, so you can adjust according to your taste and needs. We also reviewed the Cotton Tassel Hat that works with the bunting bag as a great set. These hats are so adorable and makes this set perfect and complete. As we all know, infants lose most of their body heat through their little heads. By using the tassel hat with the bunting bag, your baby will be cozy and warm and will maintain a perfect body temperature. I find this set to be great for naptime, cuddle time, feeding time, fussy times and for after a bath. My baby will cuddle right up the second it is on and will calm down for a peaceful rest within moments. There are no snaps, velcro or buttons to worry about, so placing it on them and removing it is a breeze and can be easily done without disrupting their sleep. This product is well priced and well made. There is no going wrong with this one. I am sure you will be pleased, as will your baby. | MOMMY MOMENT: I am a strong supporter of swaddling small infants. If there is any one thing I can recommend to a new mother, who is lacking in sleep because baby is fussy, it is swaddle - swaddle - swaddle. The added comfort may be the reason, or it may be that is keeps the startle reflex at bay - While I am not sure of the reason, I know it works and they love it. |

I have reviewed both the summer and winter models of the Baby In A Bag and I must say - they are AWESOME!!!
My infant seems to enjoy kicking covers off at night. It becomes so frustrating trying to keep them on to know he is warm for the night. Each time I would check on him, there he would be half covered and half uncovered. This always leads to him waking up, because he gets chilled once I am asleep and not checking every 5 minutes. With using the Baby In A Bag there are no worries of him uncovering himself, no matter how much he squirms or kicks. I can truly say he sleeps better, and so do I. The summer model is great for summer months or for a warm room. It is not so hot they overheat, but warm enough to keep them content. Made of cool, breathable cotton, it is a perfect summer piece for night time or nap time. The winter model is much thicker and has a polyester lining for extra warmth. This is great during the winter months or in a cooler room environment. The Baby In A Bag fits right over their sleeper, so no disrobing is required. The arms are open, so they do not feel confined and their normal sleeper will keep their arms warm enough, when the rest of their body is enclosed in the bag. A great feature they offer is a reverse zipper. They open from the bottom up. You may wonder why this is so great, so I will explain. When you go to change them, there is no need to half remove the bag to get access to the diaper. No need to turn them part way over, etc. Simply unzip and change them. It also keeps the zipper from pinching their chin or poking it when it is in an upward position. It is a great feature very few designers think of, but so helpful when they do. Baby bags (also known as sleep sacks) have been used in European countries for multiple years and are highly regarded there. Here in the states we seem to be finally catching up with other countries when it comes to infant wear and accessories. Now your baby can know the comfort and all night warmth their babies have enjoyed for years. This is great to purchase as a shower gift, for the new baby or to add to your own "must have" list for your own baby. The prices are modest and the quality is extreme. I really love the prints and colors they offer at Baby In A Bag. They are precious and with so many to choose from, you are sure to find one that will match your needs and color scheme. Prior to using the Baby In A Blanket, I laundered it as I do all baby items I purchase. They wash great in cool water - warm is okay if needed, but I would not suggest hot water use at all. They suggest line drying or cool tumble delicate cycle. I personally let ours dry most of the way on the laundry rack and then placed it in the dryer on gentle warm, to increase the softness (my preference) and they came out looking as perfect as they went in. No shrinkage, no bunching, no color bleeding. A perfect start to a perfect night garment. These are suggested for babies over 10 lbs and they have sizes for both infants and toddlers. For safety sake, please ensure you use the size recommended for your baby. They will appear a lot larger than your baby, as in length. This is to allow them freedom of movement when it is on them. They can still kick all they want and not feel restrained or confined. This will help them to sleep easily without waking because of restrictions. | MOMMY MOMENT: Babies sleep better in a cool room. You do not want it cold, but you do not want it too warm. Most recommend 65-68 degrees as a perfect temp for a baby to sleep well in. My daughter will wake up if a room gets too warm. She also refuses to sleep with any blankets. If she feels them, she will kick them off, even in her sleep. So, a wearable blanket is just the ticket for her to remain covered and warm but not be bothered with a blanket. |

WOW! The Kokkoon was more than I imagined when I heard this review was coming. What I found when I opened the box, was a warm and soft Kokkoon, that invites an infant to snuggle up with it for warmth and coziness. The fabric is so soft and cushy to touch it makes you want to snuggle right in to it yourself. Few could measure up to the quality of this one.
The one I have reviewed is the winter model "Divine Doggy Berber" with navy berber exterior. This model is beautiful and would work for boy or girl. They have many styles and colors available, in both winter and summer models. Be sure to check out their website for the perfect match to your needs. As a mom of a small one, I am always looking for products that will help to increase his comfort, while I decrease my workload. This product offered exactly those two things, as it allows for easy access for entry and exit, when used in the carseat or the stroller and also offers a warm "kokkoon" for him to relax in, as I transport him from place to place. Blankets always seem to come undone, because he likes to wiggle, squirm and kick constantly. With the Kokkoon he is not able to wiggle out of it, so I know he is warm and content for the duration of the ride. The Kokkoon is a delightful [necessity] accessory for every carseat or stroller. Using this product eliminates the need for winter clothing and snow gear, as baby will be safe, sound, warm and secure while using only the Kokkoon itself. In the summer months, using the summer model and normal clothing will keep baby perfect temperature for a pleasant trip. Because there is no need for heavy clothing or blankets when using the Kokkoon, it allows one to buckle the infant into the safety harness with ease. No bulkiness will be found and baby will be fully safe riding because he is in place properly with nothing to hinder the carseat's restraint system. It also offers a head support that fits right inside of it, to keep young infants secure during their ride. Priced modestly enough one could purchase one for both carseat and stroller and not have to interchange them for different activities, yet easy enough to remove and install that you will also do well with only one, if this be your preference. The Kokkoon stands up perfectly to normal care and laundering. It is durable and offers a solid, finished binding, so it stands up to long term use for many children to come. This product is good for children up to approximately age 1 (30"). Once baby no longer needs it for its intended use, you can simply unzip it all of the way and use it as an excellent car seat cover. A truly multi-purpose baby necessity that offers easy access via the full length zipper and easy care. This comes in very handy when I go to put him in his seat or take him from it, and is also helpful if I am just needing to check his diaper. It also offers extra padding for added warmth and comfort. If your little one is anything like my baby girl, she always seemed to fall asleep right before I would go to change her. Without the help of garments made for this, it was next to impossible to change her without waking her up. |

I will be honest. I was not sure if this review would work for me.
I decided to give it a try, but told the office I would probably have to
pass it along to another reviewer, because I doubted my baby would go for it.
This was based on the fact that at now almost 9 months old, my baby had not been acquainted with any type of sling / pack etc., so I figured it was too late to introduce it. I was willing to try however, because it would be a dream come true
to have free hands more than I have had to this point.
It took me a moment to figure out how it was to be used. My first attempt was feeble, and did not work. That was my fault, for not looking at any instructions prior to giving it a try. Once I looked at the instructions, it was a snap. You simply fold it in half (lengthwise), to create a pouch. Then place it over your head, draping over one shoulder and placed where the pouch hangs down to your opposite hip. VERY Simple! Okay. Now I have it on. Now for the fun part - Get her in it and see how she does. With her strong will, and her strong muscle tone, I thought this may be a challenge if she does not like it. I placed her in it, as the instructions on the website say to. Instantly, and I kid you not - INSTANTLY! She LOVED IT! I thought at first Ok, maybe she is just trying to figure out what on earth this is ... but No! She truly loved it. She curled up in it, laid back, no struggle, no fight. She relaxed and was totally quiet. She played patty cake for a bit, played with her toy for a bit, and then sucked on her paci and started dozing off. I took her to her father and said "Look at this!? Can you believe this?" He was as shocked as I. We were both even more shocked when I went to take her out of it, and she protested. I then told her father he needed to put it on for a bit and hold her in it because she did not want out, and I needed to use the restroom. This is now a tool used to get her to relax and unwind, as well as a tool for the help of free hands. She has taken so well to it, and each time I place her in it, it has the same effect - instant calm. I now have free hands when on the phone, when checking the mail, and other daunting household tasks. This has become one of our favorite baby items, because it is so easy to use, and she enjoys it so much. She loves to also sit up in it, peeking out at her siblings, playing peek a boo with them. She then pokes her head back in where they cannot see her, and thinks it is great! It is comfortable, holds her securely in place, and is not cumbersome. It is so much nicer than those packs that require buckles, and snaps, and everything else imaginable to make them work. This is convenient, and when she falls asleep, I simply slip it off and lay her down. She doesn't wake up at all. She does so well in it, I will carry her in it and then when I go to sit down in the rocker with her, I leave her in it, and rock her that way. She enjoys this greatly. Then, if I need to jump back up, she is ready to go. Because it is made of cloth, it is simple to fold up and take with you, wherever you go. The one I reviewed is made of Microfleece, and I kid you not, this is SO soft and comfortable, it is not a wonder she is so snuggly when inside of it. These are well priced, very well made and simply adorable. They have a style and color for every outfit, if you wish to be that extravagant. Many to choose from, so be sure to check their site, for the one that best meets your needs. This should be on every new mothers list. They can be used from the moment a child is born, up through the toddler years. It is a gift that keeps on giving, long after those booties no longer fit. The Peanut Shell also adorns a nice handy pocket, great for carrying the paci, cellphone, keys or a bottle in. My daughter has learned where it is and tries to stick a toy in it. It works well for this as well. Then, it offers a nice ring to place a key chain or paci holder onto, so you do not lose them. I love my peanut and her peanut shell. The QuickZip Starter Set is a dream come true. I have reviewed the flannel set, which is so soft and comfortable, I wish there were a set for my king sized bed.
All new parents are concerned with the possibility of SIDS. With the Quickzip Starter set, you lessen these fears because you are using a sheet set that stays put and does not come undone at the corners, causing a potential hazard for your baby. While I do not live in fears of SIDS, I do my best to ensure my baby's safety, by using quality products such as this, that simply make sense in protecting my child and giving him the very best. The feature I like the most, is when it comes to making up the crib, and removing sheets for laundry care, it is so simple to unzip the top sheet and throw in the washer, without having to lift the mattress every time to remove it or replace it. Now it is a simple procedure that leaves the mattress in place every time. You can't make it any simpler! When I first looked at the QuickZip set, I thought it may be hard to put on or confusing. I was pleasantly amazed at truly how simple it was. Lift the mattress, set the base in place, put the mattress inside of it, pull the sides up over the mattress edges and zip the top sheet into place. It took all of about 5 minutes to set up. Removing and replacing the top sheet takes about 1 minute every time I launder it. The sides and bottom portion piece stays in place and does not need removed. The quality of this set is most impressive. The cotton is so comfortable, and being flannel it is ultra warm. No more waking baby by placing them on a cold sheet when they are asleep. Now baby will snuggle in to a warm flannel that is inviting to sleep in. The company offers many matching coordinates for this. You can choose any of their Quickzip top sheets to use with this set, so you have varying colors, patterns and styles to choose from. Simply choose the ones you like and then replace the top sheet with the one you desire. If you are looking for a pain free system to crib care, this is a must have! | MOMMY MOMENT: A tip to fewer middle of the night sheet changes, due to baby wetting through the diaper at night: I found by going up one diaper size, this eliminated 98% of wet sheets in the middle of the night. Also, giving the last bottle one hour before sleep time allows for you to have that before bed diaper change that helps a lot. |

We forget how quickly they move on to the next milestone, so rather than waiting until it is too late, it is wise to tackle the next milestone ahead of time. |

The Ultimate Swaddling Blanket has been a real treat to review for my baby and myself. I have read so much about the swaddling technique and how effective it is for keeping infants snug and secure and enabling them to sleep longer and better, yet I had not tried it myself.
Now that I have, I am so pleased to have had the opportunity and will continue using the technique until my baby has past the stage of this being a great sleep aid for him.
I had read that swaddling is used extensively in Europe but in the USA most people have found it to be too hard to learn the technique, so it is not used as much here as in other countries. This gave me cause for pause, as I feared I would fail miserably when I tried it. However, Swaddling Designs has made this a breeze for those who have used the technique before and for those that are brand new to it, as I was. Their ingenious 1,2,3 step tag shows you exactly how to use the technique and their great Swaddling Blanket is perfect in size and shape for making it easy to follow and easy to maneuver. I was able to use the technique and the blanket successfully the very first try and my baby snuggled right into it. The 100% cotton flannel used for this blanket is so soft and cuddly. It washes and dries easily with no worrisome cautions to regard. Simply wash it with your other baby items and it is set for another round of use. Swaddling Designs, LLC also sent one of their Burpies, which are burp cloths made to match the Swaddling Blanket. This makes for a beautiful set for the new mom and baby and both of them fold up easily to place in your baby bag to take with you wherever you go. The Burpies are made of cloth diapers which are absorbent and very soft. They have been decorated and designed to carefully match the Swaddling Blanket and will hold up to normal use through many infants. They come out of the washer and dryer looking like new. To date I have seen no piling, no freying, no worries at all. They look as good as new. If you have an infant who doesn't seem to sleep as long as you wish she did, or seems to fidget a lot when sleeping and waking themself; I would try a swaddling blanket. They have been proven effective time after time and will bring you and your infant longer and more restful sleep and you will be so glad you tried one. If you have not used the technique before, I encourage you to try this design, as the handy 1-2-3 step process is so easy to learn and if you forget the tag is right there to remind you. If you have used the technique before, you will still enjoy the quality and comfort the Ultimate Swaddling Blanket provides. This is a sweet set that you will delight in using.
