The BellySock solved a few problems with my maternity wardrobe.
First, it allowed me to wear my non-maternity pants longer. Because it covers the waistline, I am now able to wear my normal jeans longer by leaving them unzipped and unbuttoned. This has been great for that in between stage especially when maternity pants are too big but normal pants are too snug. The BellySock is a GODSEND for this problem.
The second problem it solves for me, is with my shirts. Now instead of not being able to wear my normal shirts, I simply place the BellySock at the end of the shirts I always wear and it extends them enough that they will work! This too is great when you wish to extend your maternity wardrobe and spend less money. The BellySock is comfortable, well made and very appealing in look. They are offered in several colors and by wearing it different ways you will create a different fashion statement each day. Wear it high or low, scrunched up or laying flat, etc. It is very flexible to your liking. This is one of those accessories for us moms to be that are simply great! I love mine. This is a great idea, because prior to this we had to spend extra money on nursing blouses, that opened from the top. Wearing this with your clothes, when not nursing, helps you create your own fashion statement. I also like that when you wear it after first giving birth, it helps to disguise the added weight we still carry for awhile. This is a big boost to how we women feel about ourself after giving birth and I greatly appreciated this aspect. What the Baby Be Mine Maternity Belly Band has brought to my pregnancy is convenience and a classy extension of my maternity wardrobe. I absolutely love it! This is the only maternity belly band I have found that does not bunch up or slide out of position when sitting or bending. This feature alone allows a lot of extra convenience that others do not offer.
The Baby Be Mine Maternity Belly Band fits over the top of my pants, under my top. I have not only an added touch of class and fashion when using this accessory, I have an extra layer of modest convenience when my pants may slide or not come closed all of the way when using my pre-pregnancy pants. This has allowed me to extend my wardrobe greatly until I had to purchase maternity pants. I find I still wear it as a nice addition to my wardrobe, because it hides the "maternity stretch material" they add to the top of maternity pants, which is not too pretty. The Belly Band just makes every pair or maternity pants look a bit more fashionable. I know once my baby is here, I will be able to use the Belly Band over my pants to hide the 'baby fat' we all enjoy when having a new baby and I will be able to wear it with my normal clothes, until i can zip them up normal again. Thank You Baby Be Mine, for making us moms to be a bit more comfortable and stylish. I appreciate you and your great product! Wearing the Belly Band could not be easier. Just slide the top of your pants down under your belly, and place the band over your belly, under your shirt. This extends your pant length and allows you to look fashionable and remain comfortable. I personally have the black belly band, but Baby Be Mine offers many colors, styles and selections to choose from, so you can have a different band for every outfit. Scream Free Parenting (It's NOT Just For Screamers!) is a 4 DVD series, of a live conference held by author, speaker, family therapist Hal Edward Runkel.
As a father of two, Hal has learned to put his words to action in his own life. This is always reassuring to parents, who like to know the methods they are being taught have been tried and have proven true. When watching this series I found myself in agreement with 99.9% of what he shared. I found the other .01% to be things I would have to think on further, to see what my true inner feelings on them were. I also found myself laughing to tears at some points, when Hal shared stories from his own life, involving him and his children. I think I laughed so hard because I could relate so well to the experience. ScreamFree Parenting is NOT a lecture on screaming. It IS a teaching seminar helping us, as parents, retrain our thinking to be that of responsiveness, not reactivity. Watching this series you will realize the power is in your hands, and in your mind, to control the outcome for YOU and you alone. None of us can control our children, nor would we want to. However, we can effect the outcome greatly, simply by remaining calm and by leading our home in a calm response, rather than everyone going crazy and flying off of the handle. Out of all the parenting books I have read over the years, and all of the videos I have watched, I would have to say this is by far the best and soundest advice I have heard. It makes "SENSE"! Giving our children the control over their own decisions, and allowing them to make their decision by knowing the consequences of them, both good and bad. Many have been preaching this message for years, but I like the way Hal does it and the comprehensive manner in which he covers the topic from start to finish in a manner we can relate to and identify with, and thereby put into action quickly. This is, in my opinion, the best money one could invest in their parenting skills. Whether it is a new parent, wanting to get it right from the start, or a parent struggling to regain control of the home .... SCREAMFREE PARENTING is the key to true success and I cannot give it any higher rating than what I have, which is TOPS!  |

I have yet to convince my husband that this is a diaper bag! He insists this is
a paintball vest and wonders why I will not let him take it to the paintball field...
With all of the pockets, in varying sizes, he is sure it would be the hit of the
field! ... It will hold the air tank, his water bottle, ammo, and snacks ...
However, as a diaper bag it will hold all of the essentials as well! So when he and junior set out for a jaunt, the Tactical Daddy is in position and getting some good use. Now he insists when we go out to the mall, that he wears the Tactical Daddy instead of me wearing a diaper bag, so he doesn't get stuck holding the bag when I head off to the restroom etc. When the Tactical Daddy is not loaded with everything it is quite lightweight, not as heavy as my coat. When fully loaded it is about the weight of my purse and diaper bag combined, however the weight is evenly distributed, so it is comfortable and not cumbersome at all. I will admit that I have been caught wearing the Tactical Daddy myself. The reason I tried it (and liked it) was because I was out on a walk to the park, and to carry a diaper bag was just not practical, as it made for too much to carry. So, I loaded up the Tactical Daddy and wore it for our outing. I had four different moms ask me where I got it. I explained to them that it was for men, but great for us wives too and they laughed and said "equal rights!" 16 pockets are available on the Tactical Daddy. There are varying sizes to hold all of your needed items excellently in place. When not being used as a diaper bag, I am sure your man will find a million other uses for it, as my husband has. While I do not suggest the paintball field (ie: stains) they will love it for other hobbies or pleasures. The Tactical Daddy allows men to be dad, in a comfortable way. As more products such as this become available, men will not feel like they are being mr. mom's but rather being good ol' dad, like it should be. As we encourage our spouses to be more involved, offering them products such as this will allow them to do so freely without reservations. Beginning in the pregnancy stage, or wherever your child may be when you are able to get this great book, the "Your Child's Health & Wellness Record" will safely and strategically keep all of the records on your child's health.
The goal of the author is to enable parents to secure the finest healthcare for their children by helping them know what information to keep and how to approach the health care team when action is needed. Having the facts together, in one area, helps to empower parents in making important decisions with their child's health care provider. This is a 2 part set that you may purchase separately or together. The first is the book to record information in. Inside you will find great hints and tips, terrific photographs taken by the author, who is also a child photographer. Then, starting with your pregnancy there are pages and pages of information for you to fill in as needed and as you go. Much like a milestone book, but this is recording health information instead of when baby first used a spoon by herself. The second is a matching binder where you place documents for safe keeping. This is great for holding things like blood test reports, wellness check notices, etc. I also placed a plastic document holder inside to hold my child's birth certificate and social security card, as well as her immunization record book, so everything is together and easy to find. Our child's healthcare is so important but something we oft times tend to take for granted. If they get a bug, we run to the doctor and get them well. However, by recording this information we will be able to see developing patterns, or know what medicines were used and which ones worked best. We will also be able to see what meds our child is allergic to, etc. All of this can be vitally important in case of emergency of the onset of a major childhood illness. When physicians see we have tracked and recorded all of the information, they will be more likely to look closely when we raise a red flag. They will also be able to look at the facts we have recorded and form an opinion themselves, rather than having to go by the information we relate that may or may not be relevant. This is not only a handy set to purchase, but it is of great importance. Waiting until something happens is too late. Then we cannot remember the facts and dates because we are emotionally involved.
