They're back for another fun adventure! The Pocket Snails now take their learning adventure underwater, to explore the world there. Jake and his pocket buddies are sure to please
every young child who is able to view this video.
The Pocket Snails are having more fun than ever in their Aquaphonic Adventure!... Making new friends, and exploring such things as scuba diving and riding in a submarine! In this video the words taught to your child by the Pocket Snails are water related, which makes for a great on topic learning experience. Children will quickly learn letter recognition, letter sounds and vowels in this fun new video. The music is upbeat and a lot of fun to enjoy as you watch the movie, and will reinforce the learning fun as well. The music is all original and on topic for the setting they are featured in. As in their first adventure, the animation in this video is marvelous. A truly professional quality video. The bright colors capture a young viewer's attention and the characters will hold that attention span throughout the entire movie, because they are so much fun to watch. The main thing I think I like about the Pocket Snails and their adventure videos, is the fact that the concepts and lessons are repeated again and again throughout the movie, so the child is able to grasp the concepts well, yet they are not repeated in the same manner, so they do not become bored with it. Repetition is a great teacher, and this video will help any young child to truly learn by watching, all while enjoying a fun story line. It has been my pleasure to review both of the videos in this progressive series, and I hope to see many more from Soaring Star. Great work!  |

We checked out each style they currently offer. They were a total hit! From rabbits, to eagles, fish, dragonflies, and more. Pers offers 7 designs currently, so every child can have their favorite animal! When you take your Blobbie out of the box, he is just "a big Blob" (but oh, such a cute Blob!). The incredible part is when you unzip the Blobbie, and pull him inside out. This is when you discover the animal hiding inside, for him to morph into. In this position you stuff the Blobbie portion inside of the animal, and zip it up to create a stuffed animal! Soft enough to be used as a pillow, fun enough to be used as a toy. BlobbieMorphers will delight any child lucky enough to receive one. A nice part is, with the great price they are offered at, your child could collect the entire set of 7 and not run you broke! Each BlobbieMorpher comes in its colorful box with a carry handle. Inside you will find not only the BlobbieMorpher but also a set of colorful, fun stickers and a trading card to collect. A pleasant addition to your child's music collection. This is one mom and dad will even enjoy hearing play. Upbeat, Uplifting, and inspirational, motivational, witty and charming - this is a fine collection of music by Roger Day.
Note that the Crickets [formerly with Buddy Holly] appear, as does the star of XMKiDS, Billy Jonas. This one is sure to set a wonderful tone in the home, as children become "busy" singing and bopping, jumping and romping along with the music. Soon they will be singing along again and again! My favorite on the album is 'Life Is A Miracle'. My daughter's favorite is 'Happy Hippos Hopping'. my husband on the other hand, likes 'Turn Off The TV' ... and we keep reminding him he is not a good rapper (smile). Yah, Mon! ...The sounds of Jamaica are calling, as you listen to "Down By The Bay" ... I must say this is my favorite song on the album. It is just brilliant!
CJ adds his own unique style variation to every familiar song on the album and has also included some great original works as well. On Top Of Spaghetti sounds like a quartet straight out of the 50's. (another one of my faves!) The new twist to familiar songs makes them seem new all over again, for those of us 'older kids' (ahem). Each song on the album seems to embrace another genre or blend a couple together. Each song features CJ's strong and smooth vocals that blend beautifully with the music, no matter what style he is engaged in at the moment. I like the fact that his vocals come through with great clarity. This is helpful when singing for children, so they can quickly learn the words and not have to wonder 'what was that last line?' CJ has one of those voices you do not tire of, so even if the kids decide to play it most of the day, you will not be dreading the next round. The CD contains a lyrics booklet, which helps children quickly learn the new songs and for the beginning reader it will help them to recognize words faster and develop stronger reading skills as they read the songs as they sing. 16 tracks make up this great cd. Stephen Fite has been performing before a young, 'sold out' audience for years.

as well as parents. Most of all, he is loved by the children.
The topics Stephen covers in the lyrics on the Gobs Of Fun CD are whimsical, yet focus on everyday life circumstances that children can relate to. From being bored, to eating Pepperoni Pizza ... Does this sound like any child you know? Yeah ... Me Too! The music is 'foot tapping, happy music!' ... you know the kind ... the "sha - na - na - na - na" kind, that has you singing along and tapping your feet before you know it. When you get to "Let's Dance", you will be clapping your hands to the triple beat ... I dare you to try and keep from it! I love how the children chime in on the songs with Stephen on this cd, making it that much more fun for the listener. I also greatly enjoyed the music accompanying Stephen. Very easy to listen to! The lyrics are not overpowered by the music, but accented beautifully by it. Great job in production, guys! Kudos! I greatly enjoyed the message of the song 'Imagination'. I like the lessons in good manners featured in the song 'Three Little Words' (please and thank you). 'Do The Right Thing' is a great reminder in good choices for children ... reminding them to always try to do the right thing and not compromise. The positive message Stephen brings forth on this cd, combined with the wonderful tunes, make it a truly GREAT experience for both child, and parent. Children can relate to Stephen, which makes his message more impacting. Stephen obviously takes this very seriously and does not stray from a true, clear, and positive message. His last song on this cd says it all, when he shares "A Wish" for the children he is entertaining. I won't tell you what his wish is, but when you hear it, you will know you have heard the genuine inspiration behind the music Stephen performs. ... They also have an added advantage when they enter the work force, because we are a multi cultural country and spanish is amongst the leading languages that employers are seeking. Kids Love Spanish DVDs bring learning spanish to life in a fun and invoking manner that children of all ages will enjoy and learn from. Starting with volume 1, introducing basic words such as hola (hello) - casa (house) - cominda (food) - agua (water) - amigo (friend), etc. this starts children off right where they will be most comfortable, using words they know and relate to well. DVD #2 introduces the alphabet and numbers. #3 brings in words relating to family. #4 introduces words relating to food. #5 rolls into colors and shapes. #6 introduces animals. #7 advances a bit with basic phrases, where you will tie different words together. Catchy songs, great music, fun graphics, delightful images of children in action using the words they are learning, all tie together for a fun experience in each dvd which are about 30-32 minutes in length. Of course seeing the Brock Sisters in action throughout the dvd series, is a lot of fun too! This lets you see they enjoy what they do! From simple images of a house (casa), to seeing a family playing together in the pool of water (agua) they tie each word with several visual examples of the words and phrases in use/context. Children from toddler age up will enjoy this series and learn from it. Mom and dad will no doubt learn along with the kids, as you hear the videos play again and again upon request. I enthusiastically encourage you to check out this dvd set if you are wishing to start your children into spanish as a second language. We have reviewed both the upper and lower case letter magnets and I can tell you these may be small, but they are powerful in both the strength of the magnets used in making them, as well as in the skills they will teach young children. The Phonic Letter Magnets by Eager Mind are great because they show both the letter featured and the picture using that letter, all in one tile. No more having to be able to match pictures with sounds before you can benefit from them. Now they are all in one which will help younger children greatly. They stick soundly to the fridge, pan, or whatever surface you use them on. They do not fall off when opening the fridge door. Eager Mind has used a 1mm magnetic backing on each tile, so they are very well made and strong to perform through the use by many children. Long and short vowel sounds are used, which is not usually found in a letter set like this. This expands the skillset learned when using this great product. Children love to use magnets and children love to learn. Combining these two in this great set will enhance a child's home education before they ever enter the classroom, thereby preparing them with a head start in their learning. Well priced, well manufactured and a great find for parents of young children from preschool through grades 1 or 2.

This is a great addition to any road trip. The music background makes for a harmonious journey, as you travel into the world of the Land Of Oz, as you drive to your destination. Not many children's audio books will be enjoyed as much by mom and dad as this one. There is over 80 minutes of audio on this CD, which includes 18 different tracks to enjoy. The nice part about books on cd is you can listen to as many tracks as you like, and then forward easily to the place where you left off and begin again. True enjoyment is what we experienced as we reviewed this cd. It is a well done production, very professional in its quality, and you can tell the makers viewed the story from the ears of a child, making it a cd that children in its target age range will love to hear again and again. It is so nice to be able to turn off the tv and allow our children to enjoy the use of their imagination.
