These precious 13" dolls win your heart the second they are out of the package. We reviewed the boy and the girl Aglow Angel Dolls and both were charming. They come in cute little angel outfits, equipped with sparkly wings on back. Their little faces are precious, and they have a lavender scent to soothe as they are loved by a child. When you push on the button located on the back their little faces light up and they play a song. The little boy angel sings twinkle twinkle little star and the little girl angel sings rock a bye baby. The song plays through two times before it stops and then the light gently fades to off. They are soft and cuddly and great for children over 24 months to hold and cuddle. These will be a welcomed new friend when you give them to a child. A darling, simple toy that is a sure delight. Since receiving the Boing Boing Mice set for review, this has become a toy my daughter absolutely loves to play with. She is just two and loves to push down the mice, into the cheese block and watch them "BOING!" back up when she lets go. She giggles with delight, picks up the mouse and does it again!
The cheese and mice are made of wood. Inside the block of cheese are 3 holes to place the mice in. At the bottom of each hole is a metal piece that allows the mice to actually bounce back up when you push them down in. The metal is fully out of reach and out of sight, so children will not get injured playing with it, but they sure will get a kick out of it. This takes you back in time, to when wooden toys were king and imaginations were key in childhood play. A bit of nostalgia is good, and imaginative play rules! This DVD has beautiful animations, and is produced with very high quality. The colors are bright and vivid and the sound is of excellent quality.
Bop Along With the Bop-a-Lots is a fantastic new video, produced by Wonderfun LLC. Created by two Hollywood fathers with the dream of producing a video for children that does not think for the child, but rather teaches them to think on their own. In this video you will meet Huggy-Bop, Silly-Bop, and Sugar-Bop. Their laughter and antics will have children and adults alike laughing. You will fall in love with these characters in very short order. You will also meet a group of children who look to be ages 1-5, who perform the song through singing, animotions and dance, as each new song is introduced. This video has no story, or storyline. What it does have is 4 genres/styles of music for each song. The four songs introduced are Old McDonald, If You're Happy And You Know It, Pop Goes The Weasel, and Rock A Bye Baby. You start with the group of children performing the traditional rendition of the song, with words. The children dance around as they sing and do the motions one is familiar with for that song. Then it moves into other settings, using scenery and dance one would expect for the style of music being performed. For instance, the Irish (Celtic) style of music used in 'Old McDonald' has a setting with the Bop-a-Lots performing an Irish style dance around four leaf clovers and rainbows. Then comes 'Pop Goes The Weasel' where you will first hear the traditional performance, and then hear different variations of it in music, while the Bop-a-Lots charm you through dance once again. I must say I personally loved the 'blues' style of Pop Goes The Weasel. This has Huggy and Silly performing as the Blues Brothers. It is a brilliant scene and one that young and old will enjoy. While this is different from what we are used to, it is a great new twist that I know parents and children alike will truly enjoy. My daughter is very small, and when reviewing the video she was on her feet and closely following the lead of the children and the Bop-a-Lots. They suggest this video for 1-5 yr olds, however, if a child is a little older and truly loves music and experiencing new styles, they too will enjoy the Bop-a-Lots. This is a refreshing new look at children's animated videos and one I hope to see more of soon. Keep up the good work, Wonderfun! A nice bonus with this new DVD is a music cd, so children may enjoy and experience the music found on the video again and again.  From the Sr. Editor: Bop Along With The Bop-a-Lots is a refreshing change from the norm, in children's videos. Watching this video will enrich a child's world of learning, by giving them the opportunity to think outside the box and view the world of music in a brand new way. This key in their development will carry over into other aspects of their education as they strengthen their ability to see beyond the barriers that are normally evident in children's programming. While fun to view, this video is also one that parents can feel good about turning on for their child, as they can rest assured that the scenes are age suitable, and the content is not only fun but enriching. We applaud Wonderfun LLC for bringing such a brilliant new work in children's animation to the marketplace, for parents and children to enjoy together. This video will help to develop and strengthen skills in such areas as: I wish to point out that the video also comes accompanied by a parent guide, which shares fun facts about the music styles that will be experienced in this video, as well as listening exercises and games for the different styles. This is a nice addition that will enable parents to become engaged in helping their child/ren take the learning portion a step beyond. The texture is soft and silky, and children love to feel the changes in the texture as they explore the pillow when cuddling it close. The pillow is 30" long and 22" wide, so it is a perfect size to embrace when you are a child. Your whole little body can snuggle up with it, and keep your spine aligned better, as well as allowing for better muscle relaxation. Children with special needs such as autism have found these pillows to be very beneficial. DreamKuddle Pillows allow children to focus and have a calming effect that works well when children have a hard time calming down on their own. Products such as this have a much greater benefit than what we may first see when looking at it. When we weigh the benefits, they are great! My daughter has fallen in love with her puppy pillow as we call it. She walks over to him and gives him a kiss and loves to cuddle with it when she is playing. She is yet too young to keep in her bed, but as she gets a little bigger, I know she will have him tag along with her as she toddles off to go to sleep.

What an awesome, innovative, awe inspiring, and creative product!
My guess would be that a mother invented the Frog Pod.
A mother who has experienced many bath times with her children,
and got tired of the endless chore of picking up each toy, rinsing it, and then finding somewhere to place a wet toy. Sound familiar to you?
A toy that converts into a cleanup tool and a storage cabinet. How is that for cool!? Children love to play when taking a bath. It helps the time go by faster, and lets mom know they are actually clean when they get out, because they are willing to stay in more than 3 minutes. Add the Frog Pod scoop to their activities and they will have a blast scooping up their toys and then splashing them into the water again. They can scoop them up and then use it as a submarine to take their toys under water .... Makes for some great fun and creative play. Then, when bathtime is over, simply have them scoop those toys up for you (if they are old enough) and they are ready for you to rinse off and then hang up on the attached portion of the Frog Pod to dry off and get ready for the next bath! Frog Pod attaches to the wall of the bathtub. There is a shelf built in to hold things like shampoo, liquid bath soap, etc. Hang accessories or rags on the fingers and toes. The scoop, when attached to the rest of the assembly, serves as the frogs back. When removed it serves as a porous scoop to pick up bathtime toys quickly and easily and clean them off. Frog Pod is handy, innovative, a great storage solution, and serves as a great decorative piece in the bathtub! Definitely worth its weight in gold, because of the ease of use. Frog Pod cuts out the chore and adds to the charm of childhood bathtime. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
